If play 10 battles today (13 August 22) you will probably get blown away with 7 Obstagoons 2 of which will be Shiny □. Some pokemon are just better than others in every league separately so people tend to use same pokemones and you can bet on that you will get a lot of Umbreons, Scraggys, Chanseys, Sunfisks in Great league and if you count in that every player is constantly adapting and reacting to events such as Community days, you can be ready for most of the matches. Seismitoad with Muddy Water and Earth power is mine favourite for that move in Great league. Some pokemons have different type of attacks available them so its very beneficial to have two charged attacks as you can fool the opponentand take out their bulky lead pokemon at the beggining of a match and if you pull that out just hit them with "spam" Charged attack and they will use that last shield for nothing 9.5/10 times □ in lower ranks at least. There absolutely is skill involved and it is evident once you start facing higher ranked players. While I agree with you that there is luck involved with PvP, I disagree that there is no skill involved. Yes, the whole state of GBL is currently extremely buggy and at times makes you want to throw your phone out the window, but it adds a layer of complexity to the game and makes catching the 100th of the same wild Pokemon interesting because you're hoping for a better PvP IV.īefore I started PvP, I felt the game was getting stale and boring because my interest in raids were dying down, and who wants to catch the same 9 Pokemon out in the wild? PvP adds to that level of interest because all of a sudden, you'd want to catch every Poliwag, Pidgey, Phantump in the wild in hopes of getting a specific IV that makes them feasible in certain leagues, and if not, trade them with someone to accumulate XL candies. I actually find PvP the most interesting part of the game and the only reason why I still play PoGo now to be honest. ![]()
